🧩 Builder Fees

Earn a share of the fees from positions opened through your integration. Storm pays it automatically to your Smart Account, in the position's collateral currency. The trader pays no extra fee.

Agree your share and confirm that builder fees are enabled during onboarding. Positions opened before activation are not assigned to you automatically.

Connect your builder

  1. Apply as a builder and register your TON address.
  2. Add that address as builder when preparing an order with the JavaScript SDK:
const prepared = await prepareOrder({
  smartAccount, market, signer, order, queryId, createdAt,
  builder: 'YOUR_REGISTERED_TON_ADDRESS',
});

Use the account, signer, order and reserved query ID from the SDK guide. Save the prepared request and hashes, then send prepared.request with api.placeOrder.

Your builder must be registered and active when the position opens. Otherwise, the order proceeds without builder attribution.

When you earn a fee

ActionYour share comes from
Market or LIMIT open / increaseThe Trading Fee when the order fills
SL or TPThe closing fee when the trigger executes
LIQUIDATIONThe liquidation penalty; no payout if unpaid debt remains
FORCE-CLOSEThe closing fee

SL/TP can be attached to the opening order or added later. Force-close includes profit-cap, manual, maximum-leverage and minimum-margin closures. Limit orders cannot reduce a position.

Placing or cancelling an order earns nothing. Execution Fee and funding payments are excluded. Your share is based on the fee collected, not position size or trader profit.

Which builder gets paid?

The builder that opened the position keeps its fees until the position is fully closed.

  • Open through A, close through B: A gets paid.
  • SL, TP, liquidation and force-close pay A automatically.
  • A partial close pays on the closed portion; the remaining position stays with A.
  • After a full close, a new position can belong to another builder.

A position opened without a builder cannot gain one later. Changing your rate or disabling your builder affects new positions; existing positions keep their saved share.

Check payment

Payment arrives after successful on-chain execution. Check the credit to your Smart Account; no claim transaction is needed. An accepted order does not confirm payment, and indexed data may appear later.
