# 🌉 Deposits from Other Networks

Trading on Storm happens on the TON network. If your USDT or USDC sits on another network, such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Solana or Tron, you don't need to find a bridge and move the funds yourself.

You send stablecoins from your network, Storm delivers them to TON and shows you where they are at every step. You confirm the last step, moving the funds to your trading balance, yourself.

{% hint style="info" %}
**What you need:**

* A TON wallet connected to Storm (for example, Tonkeeper). Cross-chain deposits won't open without it.
* Stablecoins on another network: USDT, USDC or similar.
* If you send from your own wallet, a little of that network's coin for the network fee (ETH, BNB, etc.).
{% endhint %}

## 💡 How It Works

Your funds pass through three points:

1. **Another network.** Your wallet, such as MetaMask, or an exchange.
2. **The TON network.** Storm delivers the funds to your TON wallet or Quick Wallet. This usually takes a few minutes.
3. **Trading balance.** You move the funds here and can open positions.

***

## 💵 What You Can Send

You can send **stablecoins only** from other networks: USDT, USDC and similar. ETH, SOL, BNB and other coins are not supported.

On TON, you receive:

| You send | You receive | What for |
| --- | --- | --- |
| USDT or USDC | **USDT** (default) | The main option: funds for trading |
| USDT or USDC | **GRAM** | For network fees or for trading with GRAM |

💡 GRAM is the new name of the TON network coin (formerly Toncoin). You always need a little GRAM for network fees.

## 🧭 Where to Find It

1. Connect your TON wallet to Storm.
2. Switch the **Main / Quick** toggle to **Quick**.
3. Click the deposit button to open **Add funds** and choose the **Cross-chain** tab.

The **TON** tab next to it is for funds that are already in your TON wallet. The **Add funds** window also opens during the first Quick Wallet setup and from Storm's messages in Telegram.

⚠️ In **Main** mode, the deposit button opens a list of exchanges instead of **Add funds**. If you see that list, switch to **Quick**.

## 📥 Where Your Funds Arrive

It depends on whether your Quick Wallet is open and which mode is selected:

| Your situation | Funds arrive in | What's next |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Quick Wallet is not open yet | Your TON wallet | One confirmation in your TON wallet opens Quick Wallet and moves the funds straight to your trading balance |
| Quick Wallet is open, **Quick** mode | Quick Wallet | Move to trading balance in one click |
| Quick Wallet is open, **Main** mode | Your TON wallet | A regular deposit from your TON wallet, confirmed in the wallet |

## 🚀 How to Send Funds

Storm asks where you are sending from. There are two ways.

### 1️⃣ Connect a wallet

Works with wallets for networks such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base and BNB Chain: MetaMask, Trust Wallet, SafePal and others.

1. Choose **Connect a wallet** and connect your wallet.
2. Storm shows the tokens in it. Pick a token and an amount.
3. Confirm the transfer in your wallet.

⚠️ Your wallet needs a little of the network's coin for the fee: ETH on Ethereum, BNB on BNB Chain, and so on. Otherwise the transfer won't go through.

💡 Solana and Tron are not supported with this option. Use **Transfer crypto** for them.

### 2️⃣ Transfer crypto

Works with any wallet or exchange. Storm shows an address and a QR code to send the funds to.

Before sending, check:

* **Token and network.** Send exactly the token on exactly the network shown on screen.
* **The address is single-use.** Storm generates a new address for every deposit. Don't save it to your address book and don't reuse it.
* **The address is valid for about two hours.** If your transfer doesn't arrive in that time, just start a new deposit.
* **Already sent, but Storm is still waiting?** Paste the transaction hash in the deposit window to speed things up.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Memo.** On some networks, such as Stellar, Storm shows a **Memo** field. You must include it in your transfer, otherwise your funds may be lost. The QR code contains only the address, so enter the memo manually.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Sending from an exchange? Add a refund address.** If delivery fails, the funds go back to this address. Without it, they may go to the exchange's shared address instead of your personal account.
{% endhint %}

### Before you send

Storm shows roughly how much you will receive (**You receive**). If the amount is too small, the form tells you right away.

Delivery is handled by Storm's partners. You don't need to choose anything: the best route is picked automatically.

## 🆕 Your First Deposit

If you are new to Storm, your Quick Wallet is not open yet, and opening it requires a little GRAM for fees. Storm guides you through three steps and moves to the next one automatically when funds arrive. Completed steps are marked with a check.

**Step 1. GRAM for fees.**
Storm asks you to bring in about 0.63 GRAM. It calculates and fills in the amount for you. If your TON wallet already holds enough GRAM, this step is skipped.

**Step 2. Bring funds.**
Deposit your main amount. USDT is the default, but you can also choose GRAM.

**Step 3. Open Quick Wallet.**
One confirmation in your TON wallet opens Quick Wallet and moves the funds straight to your trading balance. The amount is already filled in. The trading key for this device is added in the same transaction. After that, you can trade.

💡 If you don't have enough GRAM at step 3, Storm offers to top it up and continues automatically once the GRAM arrives.

💡 If Quick Wallet is not set up on this device yet, Storm offers to set it up: create or enter your PIN.

## 💼 Moving Funds to Your Trading Balance

When funds arrive in Quick Wallet, Storm offers to move them to your trading balance. For USDT, the full balance is filled in so no small leftovers stay in Quick Wallet.

Whether you need to confirm anything depends on your device:

| Your device | What happens |
| --- | --- |
| Trading key added, Quick Wallet unlocked | The transfer goes through instantly, no confirmations |
| Trading key added, Quick Wallet locked | Storm asks for your PIN |
| No trading key on this device | Storm asks you to confirm the transfer in your TON wallet. This happens every time until you connect this device to Quick Wallet |

Funds appear on your trading balance within a few seconds. After that, you can start trading or add more funds.

💡 Quick Wallet pays a small GRAM network fee for the transfer. If it runs out of GRAM, Storm offers to top it up from your TON wallet or from another network.

## ⏳ While Funds Are on the Way

Delivery usually takes a few minutes. You don't have to keep the window open: all pending deposits are listed at the top of the **Cross-chain** tab, and you can open any of them to check the status.

The deposit screen shows two stages:

* **Transfer.** Storm waits for your transfer, then marks it as received.
* **Delivery.** The funds travel to your Quick Wallet or TON wallet, then are marked as arrived.

Below the stages, you can see when Storm last checked the deposit, so you know the screen isn't frozen.

**Notifications:**

* When funds arrive, Storm shows a notification in the app.
* If you log in to Storm via Telegram, the bot sends a message when funds arrive, with a button to move them to your trading balance or continue setup. The bot also lets you know if funds were returned or a deposit failed.

***

## 🧮 How Much It Costs

**Storm charges no fee for deposits.** You only pay:

* **The partner's delivery fee.** Usually a few cents per deposit.
* **Your network's sending fee.** It is highest on Ethereum, so sending from Arbitrum, Base or BNB Chain is cheaper.

**Opening Quick Wallet** takes about 0.63 GRAM, but almost all of it stays with you: part of it remains in Quick Wallet as a reserve for future fees, and the excess goes straight back to your TON wallet. Only about 0.01 GRAM is spent on the TON network fee.

## 🆘 If Something Goes Wrong

The main rule: send exactly the token on exactly the network shown on screen, and don't forget the memo if Storm shows one.

| What you see | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| **Your transfer was returned** | Delivery failed and the funds went back. From a connected wallet, they return to the same wallet. From a transfer to an address, they return to your refund address, if you added one |
| **Your deposit window closed** | Nothing arrived within two hours. Start a new deposit to get a new address |
| **This quote can no longer be signed** | The confirmation in your wallet came too late. Your funds are still in your wallet. Get a new quote and confirm again |
| **Your wallet did not answer** | Before sending again, check your wallet history: the transfer may have already gone through |
| **The move did not go through** | Moving funds to your trading balance failed. Check your trading balance before retrying: the funds may already be there |
| **Quick Wallet is not set up on this device yet** | Set it up: Storm will ask you to create or enter your PIN |

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Funds didn't arrive, got stuck or were returned to the wrong place?** Don't send the transfer again. Contact [Storm Support](https://t.me/Storm_Support_bot) and include any code or number shown in the error message.
{% endhint %}
